If so, join our Learning Programme for Teaching Assistants and get the skills to start a career as a Teaching Assistant!

At the end of the course, you’ll also have the opportunity to register as a temp worker with our sister Company Worldwide Education and start working straight away!

Many of the learners who have completed the programme have started working as a temp Teaching Assistant or have found a permanent job in a School!

The course also includes a session of CV building and interview tips with an experienced consultant from Worldwide Education.

This is a Community Learning Programme and it is available only for learners who meet the funding eligibility criteria.

Funding criteria

This course is a funded Community Learning Programme in partnership with Slough Borough Council.
The eligibility criteria for free funding are the following:

– Aged 19+
– Resident within the boroughs of Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead
– Resident in the UK continuously for 3 years or more (exceptions apply for refugees)
– Unemployed or in receipt of low income (less than £22,308 per year)
– In receipt of Universal Credit (take home pay less than £617 as a single or £988 as couple)

Progression opportunities

Learners can progress into a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Learners who complete the course will also be invited for a job interview with our sister Company Worldwide Education which could progress into employment as a temp Teaching Assistant.
