Lessons are face-to-face, 3 days per week (Mon, Wed, Fri).

To achieve this qualification learners must successfully complete 4 mandatory units:

1. Understand behaviour that challenges
2. Understand how to support positive behaviour
3. Understand the importance of effective communication and the management of behaviour that challenges
4. Understand the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges

Entry requirements:

Aged 19+
Level 1 literacy
Level 1 IT skills

Full Funding eligibility criteria:
1. Resident within the boroughs of Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead
2. Unemployed or in receipt of low income (less than £20,000 per year)
3. Resident in the UK continuously for 3 years or more (exceptions apply for refugees)
4. In receipt of state benefits (Universal Credit, JSA, etc.)
5. Have Right to Work in the UK
6. Aged 19 years+
7. Not being on an apprenticeship
8. Take-home pay on Universal credit less than £617 if you’re single, or £988 if you claim as a couple

Assessment

All units will be individually internally assessed using a range of methods which could include written assignments or tasks.
